Fun at the Pond

Zoe from Make it Crafty asked me to be guest designer this week for her Make it Colourful challenge blog.
The challenge was "color a water scene". I had to use at least one of MiC's digital images and whatever other stamps I wanted - and of course it had to have some water in it. I chose the mushroom house and this is what I came up with. It was colored with Copic markers and colored pencils.

Hi! I came here from Make it Colourful and I must say I'm totally awed by all your colouring and scene creating! Shirl called you the Queen of Scenes and I'm 100% with her! Like this one here is simply amazing!

WOW - Fabulous! When the challenge was to create a water scene you really ran with it - I love it! We have an "inner" group contest at MiC to use the most images on a card and I think you just topped it... how many? 1..2...3... you'll have to share it with the group - I think our last count was 11 or 13. ;D Great to have you on the team as our guest this month! *Hugs

Great card, Abbey! I especially love the mushrooms as cabanas.

Excellent choice to use that mushroom cabana. Now that I know it's a digi, I figured out how you made it smaller for the back right one :). Pooh on the upturned umbrella, that cat on the scooter, the sunbathing frog. You are just a HOOT! Yep, you even got the owl in this one. And the jumbo kitty taking it all in - - WOW! Amazing coloring and composition, as always. 24 stamps, huh? What don't you have that you feel the "need" for, Karen? Thanks!

Karen hun, I tried and tried to leave you a comment to thank you so much for joining us but blogger just didn't like me. I have recently heard how to fix the problem. Fortunately after I became so frustrated that I ended up saving my message in a text document! hahaa

Karen, what an absolute pleasure to have you with us this week. My gosh you are amazing at creating scenes!! When you showed me what you had created I nearly fell off my chair. All of the details and that CAT is just a fabulous addition. Again thanks sooo much for sharing your talent with us all. hugs xxoo
