Karen, this is really so cute! I think you are the only person I know who owns a Delafield stamp - besides me! I don't own this particular one but I do own about 26 of them. Delafield went out of business shortly after I started stamping in '95 or '96, I think. They have such a sweet innocence about them. Thanks for sharing this adorable scene.
Thank you Cindy, I really like Delafield stamps too. The first one I ever got was from a nice lady on Gingerwood. It is THE CUTEST thing, a little girl with a teddy bear. Then here and there I purchased a few on eBay. They had so many that are good for scenes. I'm sure I don't have anywhere near 26 of theirs though LOL. Another company I really like (that sadly, is long gone) is Comotion. They had some really beautiful scenes that are enjoyable to color.
Oh, I have a few Comotion stamps, too, about 30, lol. One of my favorite Delafield stamps is a head/shoulder image of a kitten looking up crossed-eyed at falling leaves. That stamp makes me smile whenever I look at it.
